Group Training
Join a Group Training Program to improve (or begin!) your running and share the experience with others pursuing a common goal. Are you:
- A new runner who currently may not run for more than 30 seconds at a time but would like to finish a 5K or 10K?
- A high school runner seeking to prepare for the fall cross country season?
- Someone who has decided this is the year to check "finish a marathon" off your list of life goals?
- A competitive runner looking for a group and coach to help you improve?
If you fit any of these descriptions, our Group Training Programs can help you pursue your goals in a supportive, social, group atmosphere.
In 2008 alone, more than 600 people passed through our group training programs. Come out and Join Us! Don't see a training program location that is convenient to you? Let us know! We will offer new training sites from time to time.

Matt came to running "late" for someone as talented as he has proven to be. It's quickly become his passion. While he likes the roads and has posted some fast times, including his recent 8th place 2:34 at the Richmond marathon, he is most happy on the trails. Matt won the 50K North Face Challenge earlier this year, but is due the biggest congrats for his recent debut at the JFK 50 Miler in November. He finished 3rd overall in the 7th fastest time ever at the event!
